I have a new Mac Pro with Catalina 10.15.5 installed and also have an Accelsior 4M2 4TB as my FCPX working disk. This configuration had issues from the beginning with the HD being supper slow in FCPX and often causes a hanging beach ball for 20-30 seconds for normal 1080p and some optimised 4k footage.
If I work in FCPX from my Drobo D8 I have better results then the fast Accelsior.
For troubleshooting purposes, I did run the Mac without the SoftRaid Drivers but after the 10.15.5 update, I thought I may be time installing the SoftRaid software again.
Bad mistake as now many applications like FCPX won't open at all and just hang.
Any solution??

Did you disable Secure Boot on your machine?

Its required or what you describe will happen, as OS X is loading the limited bundled version of the SoftRAID driver. this was something added to Catalina after the beta cycle completed. It will be 10.16 before this is fixed.

at this stage, I cant' do anything on the machine as it freezes after restart even after hopefully uninstalling SoftRaid. I tried to disable start Up Security but it won't accept my admin PW even though I'm logging in to the machine with the same PW daily. Speaking to APPLE and try to get this sorted ATM

No need to "uninstall" SoftRAID to resolve this.
What if you disconnect your SoftRAID disks and in preferences disable "Auto rebuilding"??
I would start by guessing that a bad disk is triggering this when the volume starts rebuilding.
A problem with password is not related to SoftRAID. Perhaps start in internet recovery mode and reinstall Catalina. It does not erase your data to do that, but fixes most problems in the System.

1. First thing I would do is pull the Accelsior card out to get your mac booted up. then disable the security as posted previously.
2. Make sure the nvme's are mac compatible.
3. Try the accelsior in a different pci-e slot and check the pci-e utility and see what it says about your configuration.
4. Use blackmagic design speed test to test your speed after you get back online to verify speeds.
