I have a iMAc 27" ends 2015 with no Controller chips. SoftRAID XT with OWC 4 RAID Thunderbolt 3.0 using RAID5.
I have experimenting with Catalina 10.15.4 the hangs up during writing to RAID
Actually I have version 5.8.1 for controller & driver instlled.
Many times is telling me to download and install new version available, first was 5.8.2 and now is 5.8.3 .
I download the software, install it, open the package in the .DMG volume, move to the Application folder, tell to overwrite last version ... but still is the 5.8.1 version there, no upgrade. If I reboot system, still the same, no change to 5.8.3
Any idea, clue or solution please?

This is a disk driver, so you cannot just replace the app.
Run SoftRAID and update the driver. The driver that is installed in the SYstem folder is what is controlling your drives, not the application.
If you install the driver and still get this message, and have a "new" computer, then disable Secure Boot:

Excuse me, but can you be more clear ... In the menus of SoftRAID application I don´t see where I can update the driver. Only look for updates, second in the SoftRAID menu (I have spanish language)... and it does the same: download 5.8.3, open the.dmg file and ask me for overwrite the previous 5.8.3 that I have....so I am missing something.

If you select your startup volume, then the menu option to "reinstall SoftRAID driver" will be available.
If you just launch 5.8.3, it should prompt you to update the driver automatically.
