What's the state of SoftRAID for macOS Sequoia 15.0.1 on the 2019 Intel Mac Pro?

In the course of troubleshooting some issues on a 2019 Intel Mac Pro, I found this article about issues with 15.0.0 and Thunderbolt SATA enclosures. However, that was published on Sep. 16th, and Apple has since released 15.0.1.

Looking for an update as to whether SoftRAID 8.3 on 15.0.1 on a 2019 Intel Mac Pro still suffers from this issue.

Try MacOS 15.1 beta, or wait until it is released. Highly likely this will be fixed in the 15.1 official release!

@seth-goldin

THe fix will be in 15.2, not 15.1, unfortunately.

Does this kernel panic with 8.3 and 15.1 affect all Macs, or just the MacPro Intel?

I have a new 14" MBP M4 Pro and am a bit concerned about attaching it to my ThunderBay 8 and ThunderBay 4.
