I recently replaced a 3TB disk with a 4TB disk in my raid 5 drive. Where previously it consisted of four 3TB disks, it now has three 3TB and one 4TB disks. Rebuilding and verifying the volume with the new disk went well, but when I select 'resize volume' to account for the extra 1TB disk space, the maximum size allowed is the same 9TB it used before I replaced the disk. Selecting the new disk shows 3TB used and 1TB available. How do I access the extra 1TB disk space without completely erasing the volume and rebuilding from scratch?

You cannot. A proper RAID volume has all partitions identical in size. Only after you ultimately replace all disks can you resize the volume. the smallest disk will determine the volume size.

(there is currently a bug in 6.2 with regards to resizing, so Monterey cannot resize volumes. It is in our bug fix list)
