Volume Fails to Rebuild

I have an 8 disk RAID 1+0 array spanning 2 enclosures, and the GUI reports that the volume needs to be rebuilt. The GUI tree shows a yellow link next to one drive (that happens to be in an enclosure all by itself). When I tell SoftRAID to start a Rebuild, nothing happens. Automatic Rebuilds are enabled but there is no disk activity.

The command line tool reports the following. Is there a way to force the rebuild? Thanks. If it is related, I am also getting a MacOS dialog once per startup that says the volume cannot be repaired.

~ % softraidtool status

SoftRAID Tool version: 6.0.5, SoftRAID driver version: 6.0.5

The mirror volume "RAID10" (disk11) is out of sync.

~ % sudo softraidtool volume disk11 startrebuild

Starting rebuild on RAID10.

SoftRAIDTool error: the volume RAID10 cannot currently be used with this command.  This command requires that at least one of the disks for this volume be out of sync.

You identified the problem. SoftRAID requires a "healthy" volume to rebuild, i.e, it has to be read/writable and mounted.

Do you have access to Disk Warrior?

Or you may need to do a backup restore.
