Cant get the volumes to mont or rebuild

I have replaced one drive which had a 1+0 (boot volume)
and 2 raid 4 volumes.
Boot volume works flawlessly after replacing the one drive;
however the Raid 4 volumes have the following issues:

Vol1: degraded, no errors•rebuilding, waiting for mount, (it won't mount or rebuild)

Vol2: degraded, needs rebuilding, no errors, (it won't rebuild, manual or auto)
