OK,
So I have a Lacie 2BIG with two 3TB drives, RAID 0, giving me a 6TB volume.
After some other changes I've made, I now have only 1TB of data on this drive and would like to convert it to a RAID 1 (3TB available).
Is it possible to make this conversion or must I go through a "backup, wipe disks and configure as RAID 1, then restore" process?

You have to backup and recreate the volume as a Mirror.
