Xcode mounts ios simulator volumes that are hidden from the Finder but are displayed in Softraid (and in Disk Utility) : it would be nice to have them not showing up in the softraid interface as there can be several of them cluttering the list of volumes.
.
Let me list this as a bug and see what we can do.
We are going to try to fix this.
Please attach a SoftRAID tech support file, when you have the Xcode volumes mounting. I will also need some information from diskutil. I will post that as soon as I get the command.
I've been using Xcode and Softraid for years but only noticed this behavior a few days ago (after upgrading to Xcode 15.3 ???).
I've done some cleanup in Xcode and deleted several iOS simulator volumes so there's only one left.
I need the output to this file from terminal:
diskutil list -plist > ~/Desktop/DiskUtil.txt
Were you able to run this terminal command? We released SoftRAID, so could not get this change into it, but we can try to get it into the next SoftRAID release if you get us this output. thanks!
Sorry for my late reply but I didn't get any notification for your message.
Here is the requested file.
