Which version of Softraid?

I have Softraid Pro, and I am planning on setting up a RAID 0 array to use as a high speed editing drive for a video project. The data for this array already exists in three other places, so no redundancy is needed. A colleague and I are planning on sharing this drive. Would my colleague need Softraid on her Mac to use the drive to edit from? If yes, which version of Softraid would you recommend?

Thank you!

If 13.4, not for short term user, SoftRAID will work and mount the volume.. If the editor wants notifications, etc, then for RAID 0, Lite is fine. Or you can get a "second seat", which is only $20 for XT. So lots of choices.

@softraid-support For only $20, I would happily add an XT seat for them. However, when I go to add seats, it defaults to adding a Pro seat for $99. How would I add an XT seat for them for $20? Thanks!

@rsths12

Sorry, I assumed XT, which is what most users are using. Is this a Thunderbay? Why are you using Pro, do you have non OWc enclosures?

@softraid-support It is a Thunderbay 4 drive enclosure (TB3) with 4 22TB Ironwolfs. Will arrive this week. I have had Softraid since 2014, so not sure why I went with the Pro over all those years other than it has worked really well. If there was a way to get an XT seat for $20 since I have Pro, but my colleague doesn't need that level, I would really appreciate it.

@rsths12

There is not a way to mix and match seats. You could get your colleage Lite (but they could not manage problems, just get alerts) that may work for you.
