I am using SoftRaid lite and wanted to try the standard version.
Now I want to delete the standard, but then it tries to delete the drivers which are in use...
How can I delete the standard version without damaging the lite one?
Just deleting the Program Folder?

This is easy, as this was how SoftRAID and SoftRAID Lite were designed to interact. You do not need to do anything except stop using the full version and reinstall the driver for the Lite version. (click on the volume and "reinstall SoftRAID driver".

Should be very easy, let us know if not.

I have reinstalled drivers for the lite version, but when I try to use the delete function in SoftRaid Menu (of course I have to start softraid to get acces to that point and at start it is complaining that the driver version is not matching the SR Version) it says that it can not be deleted because the drivers are used on the boot drive.

Not sure what you are referring to.

Delete is for deleting a volume. You cannot delete a volume that belongs to the current boot disk.

If SoftRAID is complaining about the driver version, you may not have the correct version of the application running.

Run SoftRAID lite 5.1.1 (or whatever the current version is in the future)
Click on the volume tile for the startup volume
Either use: Update SoftRAID driver" or "reinstall SoftRAID Driver", depending on which is available.
restart as requested.

If after performing this set of steps, when you run SoftRAID, you still get the "drier is not the same version as the application" message, then there is a problem with the driver cache (kext cache). Probably the quickest way to fix that problem is "uninstall SoftRAID" from the utilities menu, which will completely remove the SoftRAID driver and associated system files. Then after a restart, run SoftRAID Lite again.

Is this your question?

I am referring to the menue point utilities/delete Softraid

I am runnign SR lite 5.1.1 and the correct drivers are installed.

I want to delete SR 5.1 I had installed two weeks ago for testing

I am not sure if deleting just the SR 5.1 directory will deinstall it completely...

What you need to do is remove the SoftRAID driver from the System.

"Uninstall SoftRAID" from the Utilities menu will do that. This will remove all components of SoftRAID from your system.

If you have any SoftRAID formatted disks, they will no longer mount, but you can initialize them with Disk Utility.

Deleting the application does not uninstall the driver.

But I do not want to remove all components of SoftRaid from my System!!!!
I want to keep SoftRaid Lite and the driver.
I only want to delete the SoftRaid (not lite) Software...

Just run SoftRAID Lite. "reinstall SoftRAID driver".

that is all you need to do. You can delete the other app at any time.

Does delete the app mean:

Just deleting the Program Folder?

I have done this and get every startup the warning that I am using the trial of SoftRide that will expire in XX days.

Have you run SoftRAID Lite and reinstalled the driver?

Have you entered your SoftRAID Lite license number?

Here is another way to do this:
Delete the SoftRAID "full" application.
Run SoftRAID Lite
"uninstall driver" from the Utilities menu
Restart (your SoftRAID volumes will not mount, but are OK)
Run SoftRAID Lite and let it reinstall the driver.

Do not do this if you are booted from a SoftRAID volume, as you will not be able to startup from that volume.

But this will definitely fix this problem.

Then you need to boot from another volume with the same OS version, and use uninstall SoftRAID driver, then reinstall the SoftRAID driver. That should be enough to fix whatever is going on.
