Soft Raid Lite Update to 5.6

I just updated my mac pro to Sierra and downloaded Soft Raid Lite to 5.6. Unfortunately, I didn't uninstall the existing soft raid lite and just deleted the folder in the applications. Now, when I enter my serial number, it says that there is already a version running of soft raid lite with that number and I can keep running the trial. How can I get my serial number to work on 5.6?

The application is not related to the serial number message.
Restart all your devices, including any internet routers and try again. See if that fixes this.

Thanks for the reply. We did restart all of the devices including the router and no luck. Still the same message screen. Can it be some remnant from the old version (5.1) and can you point me to where the file is so I could delete it, then re-install the updated Soft Raid lite?

Do you have an Apple TV in your house/office? We found a bug in Apple TV that could cause this.

I have the same problem and yes I have an Apple TV.

Unplug the power cable to the Apple TV, then plug it back in. See if that fixes this problem.
(duplicate serial number)

Not sure if I should state my problem in a new thread or add to this one since it's a similar issue...
I bought the LITE version

So... Why does this software bug me about updating, then when I do, it downloads the full version, not the lite version? Then starts bugging me about it being a trial version...

Now, through these fine forums, I did find a link to the LITE version to download... Why is that now telling me I'm only running the trial version?

Shouldn't an update know that I'm running a registered version of the software when it updates? I'm so confused.

I don't have my serial number available here though, so is there a way to regenerate an email showing me my serial number?

There is a bug where the auto update download may pull the full version rather than Lite. That is probably what happened.

If you have a Lite serial number and are running SoftRAID Lite, it should be OK.

You can see if you have your serial entered by "about SoftRAID" and seeing if it shows your license (the lat 5 digits are obscured, though)
