None are available with the downloaded software, unlike all previous versions. Is this available online somewhere instead?

Ok. Found them here online: https://software.owc.com/support/softraid/downloads/
Is it possible to include them with the software download, like in the past, so they are not missed?

That is a decision made to simplify the user experience. I do not think extensive release notes will be released in the app any longer. But it is up for internal discussion.
