Last night my certify task on 2 external 16TB HDD in an OWC Thunderbay and last night they said 66/69 hours remaining but 10 hours later they said 77/80. I suspect the computer may have gone into low power and they paused even though it was turned off b/c when I turned on computer they said 777/800 hours but this adjusted.

Certify times are a rough estimate based on current throughput vs total bytes remaining. Since drives have wildly varying performance (much slower at the and of the drive for example), use time remaining as a very rough estimate.
