Wanting to use my OWC Mercury Elite Pro Quad as a backup for my Synology NAS.  I was able to make a RAID 5 with SoftRAID 8.0 on my OWC Mercury Elite Pro Quad using MAC Mini M2 using 14.4.1.  I can't seem to get the Synology NAS to recognize the RAID 5 when I plug it in.  Synology NAS will recognize the following for mats when plugged into the NAS.  Supported formats include Btrfs, ext3, ext4, FAT32, exFAT, HFS Plus, and NTFS. Is this even possible or is there something else that needs to be done.   Thanks in advance

Here is the problem. SoftRAID volumes mount because of the MacOS SoftRAID driver. Synology is running Linux. It cannot mount a SoftRAID volume.

If you connect the SoftRAID volume to your Mac, and the Synology over Either net or USB to the Mac, your Mac will see the Synology and you can copy the data over.

You just have it reversed.
