Hello, I am new to the forum. I recently replaced two of my hard drives in my RAID to larger sizes. My old set up was with two old 4TB drive and two new 16TB drives. I replaced the two 4TB drive with two 16TB drives so now there are four 16TB drives. After the install everything I went to resize the RAID and it seemed to work fine. The issue I am having is SoftRAID is reading the RAID Drive as having 48TB of workable space while my Mac is only reading it as having 12TB of workable space (what it was before the resize) Can someone help me figure out how to get my Mac to read the new RAID set up correctly? Thank you
Please attach a SoftRAID tech support file (Utilities menu) and I can take a look.
Have you unmounted/mounted the volume as a test?
I have unmounted/mounted the drive and even shut everything down and rebooted the system with no change. I've attached the tech support file.
@nicasello What likely happened was the "tool" SoftRAID calls in MacOS did not complete.
Here is a simple workaround that should work:
select the volume and resize again. Make it small by any modest amount. (1TB is easy and plenty enough)
then resize again, to max. Does this fix it?
It didn't work. I've attached a screen shot of the error message.
Still get the same message.
Post a new support file. We may have to get you a special tool to fix this.

Sorry, I never received an email.
It was sent to the email you used to create this account. It starts with ntomas, correct?
That is the correct email. The only emails I've received were notifying me that there was a reply to this thread. I've also checked the trash and junk folders and nothing from SoftRAID.
