The release notes for SoftRaid v8 says the driver will be updated upon first volume connection. However, with all my volumes connected, the software lists driver v7.6.1. Should it not be a driver v8 and if so, how do I get this?

If you want the 8.0 driver to load, you need to upgrade to Sonoma 14.4. MacOS version now determines which SoftRAID driver can load.
