Hello, I had contacted OWC support via the webform on March 23rd about a license issue.  It is Case: 02958874.   

On March 24th, the support team mentioned they were working on the issue.  I sent an email on March 29th and April 5th inquiring about the status but I didn't receive replies.   I'm so sorry about posting in the forum, but thought I would try here in case my email replies weren't be routed to the support team members, or perhaps the assigned team member is out of the office.

 

Here is a summary of Case 02958874.  

(I had downgraded from two seats to one seat and noticed the subscription on the website was linked to an old license number.  I had an older license number that had problems with renewals and a new license was created by support in July 2025. (case 02837659)   On March 24th, OWC support deleted the old license and the subscription.  I think the next step would be create a new one-seat subscription for my account and link it to the new license number and prorate the renewal date due to the reduction in seats.)

I was hoping to get an update about the status of the case, and I was a bit concerned because there was no response for 14 days. 

I understand the team must be busy and this isn't an urgent issue, so if it will need more time to fix, I understand completely.

I will look into this for a resolution for you. There were some back-end issues on the store recently, so that can be causing a delay.

It looks like it is fixed, but you need to check. Your SR8 is your license. if you log into your account, and "manage subscriptions", you should be able to add a subscription to your SR8 license, we cannot do that part for you.
Your older license subscription was indeed canceled. (It shows pending, until a year goes by)

Hi, I see on my subscription webpage, there is a button that says "resubscribe".   If I click on "resubscribe", the order page shows that today's total is $79.99, and it looks like it is starting a new subscription because it says the first renewal date is 1 year from now (April 18 2027)

Before my subscription was cancelled by support to delete the old serial number, my renewal date for the 1 seat subscription was May 17th 2027.    Prior to downgrading, the 2-seat subscription renewal date was January 14th 2027, but when I downgraded to 1-seat, it extended the subscription to May 17th 2027.  I think the date was extended because I had paid $119.98 for 2 seats and a 1 seat subscription is $79.99 so the system applied the amount prorated to extend the one seat subscription.  

Just wanted to check if I should click "place order" to reactivate the subscription?  It looks like doing so may start a new subscription and result in charges today.  I wasn't sure if there needed to be some other modifications the billing team needs to make so when I go to the resubscribe page, it doesn't result in charges today and the date shows I'm paid through May 17th 2027.

Let me check with the store admin first. If there is a charge, we could refund it. But there should not be, from what I can see.
