If you paste this into terminal, does it load the driver?
sudo kmutil load -p /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext

it’s loaded now:
212 0 0xffffff7f9ce01000 0x2f000 0x2f000 com.softraid.driver.SoftRAID (6.0.4) F204EA9E-0613-36D6-BCD4-59408FD831BB <30 6 5 3>
hmm, I guess I can unmount, unload, and try to load it...do you recommend this now?
Did your volume mount? If you don't see it, click on the volume tile and expand it, so you can see if there is a disk identifier, like disk6. If you see that, then the volume should be able to mount.

Oh yes it did mount on restart, that’s what I was reporting. Doesn’t the tech support report show that? So do you want me to unload it and see if I can reload it or what?
Nothing to do. I want to check, as communications on a forum are not always 100% clear. thanks for reporting.
I have been unable to mount my Raid 5 volumes on an Intel MacBook Pro with the 6.0.5 after updating to 11.3 MacOS. The terminal command below allows the volume to mount, but must be redone after a restart. Thanks for this help and good luck with the solution.
sudo kmutil load -p /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext

I had this problem yesterday; raised with Support via website = no reply yet. Reading this, I found I still had 6.0.4 installer in Downloads and reinstalling has worked. If I hadn't had it, it would've been good to know on here where to re-download 6.0.4 - I looked on the site but couldn't find older driver downloads.. suggest that is made prominent.
The issue is it is a fluke that the older version works. Its more that a big in Big Sur fails to update the extensions cache. Its a messy issue, we do not have a permanent workaround yet.
After running the SoftRAID application for several hours with or without a monitor connected, a dialogue box opens stating that an internal part of SoftRAID has terminated.
