I'm running SoftRAID to manage some RAID-5 units. I also have Drive Genius 4 installed which I was using prior to adopting SoftRAID. The Drive Genius 4 runs a Drive Pulse in background that checks on disk health, as does SoftRAID.
Is there any conflict between having both SoftRAID and Drive Genius 4 running at the same time ? If there is, then I would probably disable Drive Genius 4.
Please advise. Thank you.

I believe Drive Pulse checks for basic SMART pass/fail status. It is not a great idea to have too many apps checking SMART, so disable it.
