After upgrading to 7.5 when I load the app a dialogue box pops up requiring me to enter my stem password before SoftRaid will load and display my SofRaid disks.
This hasn't happened on any previous versions. Two questions.
Is this normal behavior?
Is there any way to disable this added step and go back to the old behavior?
I installed 7.5 over 7.0 running the 7.01 driver as I was one of those affected by 7.01 not loading consistently.

This is something we are working on, it will be changed in a future version of SoftRAID. Its a side effect of the driver loading change.
Does 7.5 work, however? (no blank window)

Sorry to report that the 7.5 app shows the full window and loads properly a few times after install but eventually reverts to the blank window. So I'm back to running the 7.0 app with the7.5 driver (it shows up as 7.5 b19 in 7.0 but plain 7.5 driver when 7.5 loads). 7.0 app and 7.5 driver works just fine without any issues. It's nice to not have to authorize the install in the authorize applications downloaded from item.

I am hoping we have time in the next update to fix the blank window problem, in addition to the authentication issue. We are first trying to fix "resize volume" as it is a high demand feature right now.
But you are correct, 7.0 will work fine with the 7.5 driver.
