After upgrading to 13.2 on my 2018 Intel Mac Mini, SofTRAID 7.1 has stopped functioning.  The drive loads on the machine, but I cannot mount it as a share.

"An Internal Part of the SoftRAID Monitor has stopped Functioning properly. Please quit SoftRAID and relaunch it"

Please advise.

Disregard.

Uninstall/Reinstall of SoftRAID resolved the issue.

@DJCAustin

Is there a sharing issue you encountered?

Actually yes I am.

I did see on a single forum that there may be an issue with file sharing and 13.2.

I toggled off sharing restarted, toggled on.  No luck. It sees the share to load in Connect to Server, but never connects.

@DJCAustin
did you add the volume with + in sharing? What about adding a folder inside the volume, also?

@softraid-support I can load other shares, but the OWC will not load as a share.

I'm beginning to believe this is a Ventura issue rather than SoftRAID.   If you find any differing information, please let me know.  I appreciate your attention on this matter!

@DJCAustin

I have been trying to test this and have not seen this when setting up sharing. So it may be some kind of "legacy" issue.
I have tried mostly 13.1 and 13.2 systems, both intel and M1.
One suggestion is to "share", then click + and add your SoftRAID volumes.
If that is not enough, click + share, and add any folder inside the volume.

When I suggest that to 13.2 complaints so far, I have not gotten any "that did not work" replies. So it probably works, but I will keep my eyes open for this issue.

@softraid-support I may have found the solution but can’t test for a few hours (I’m at work)

I’m not  the only person w/Ventura 13.2/SMB issues.  The reported issue is custom icons for the share.  If the custom icon is removed then the share will mount.

The issue is being discussed on Reddit and Apple Forums.

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254581853

I can report this evening.

Well,  removing the custom icon, toggling file sharing off, restarting, file sharing back on produced a successful outcome.

I was sharing the whole volume.  It is working now.
Thank you!

@DJCAustin
Another user reported it had to do with custom icons. That means Apple may fix this. If it is being reported on reddit channels, it is likely users have filed bug reports to Apple. That is good news, I thought the cause was SoftRAID volumes being removable.
thanks for the extra detail on this, it will help us research this.
