this is a relatively new enclosure? It is replaceable, if so.
Bought in June 2022 so still under warranty but the Belgian reseller doesn't exist anymore and returning this enclosure will be a pain.
I reinstalled the spinning HD and that works fine.
Have to contemplate what further steps to take...

Does not matter, we have a repair depot in Brussels, where you can return ini warranty products. Try owc.eu, it should direct you to the correct page.
