So what (in outline) is the process for upgrading to Ventura and SoftRAID 7? Which do we upgrade first? Do we shutdown and disconnect our RAIDs during the upgrades?
I always disconnect my storage when upgrading MacOS.
You upgrade Ventura first, then install SoftRAID. If you do it the other way, you will need to reinstall SoftRAID anyway.
Did I miss the memo? My Softraid is no longer running... is this another forced upgrade? Where do I get whatever I need to get this back online?
Here is a link to the current beta for SoftRAID 7 for Ventura.

We are performing an additional round of testing and are making a couple final changes for the release version of Ventura.
We expect SoftRAID to be released by the first or second week of November.
@softraid-support I was intrigued by your sequencing and have a question for you. I agree start by unmounting the drives (I even disconnected the cables to avoid restart shenanigans). But before upgrading my Mac Pro from Monterey to Ventura, i first upgraded SoftRaid from 6.3 to 7.0 b18, launched the app and updated the driver and restarted. At this point i then upgraded to MacOS Ventura. Once the upgrade finished (honestly shocked at how fast that happened but another story) I validated SoftRaid 7.0 b18 was running, had the correct driver version, and I plugged in my drives.
Everything has been great for the past 5 or so days. Just curious why your process was reverse for MacOS/SoftRaid, and if I should have any concerns. Thanks in advance.
Because Ventura will/might replace the driver with an older one. I think on M1, it cannot, so leaves it alone.
