Hi there. New here, although using SoftRAID since 2012.
My setup:
MacPro 5,1 (mid 2012) running Mojave (10.14.6)
Boot disk: MARVELL Raid VD 0 (from OWC)
Data in RAID 1 w/ 3x3TB disks and SoftRAID 5.8.3
I'm about to upgrade to Catalina using macOS Catalina Patcher from dosdude1.
Any thoughts, recommendations, warnings, hints?
At the same time I'll be upgrading my current 3TB drives to 8TB, so I'll have the data disks to use as backup.

Good luck! Apple has been locking down the OS.
