I am on OSX 10.15.7 and havent used my raid for 6-7 months. Just set up everything again and needed to update OSX and afterwards Softraid to 5.8.4.
Now the driver is stuck on installing or boot cache rebuilding. See screenshot.
I am super afraid of loosing everything that is on the Raid. I have been a bad boy and not backed up for at least a year or so.
Any suggestions as to how to solve this are greatly appreciated.

Now support said I should force quit and reset PRAM.
The window has not dissappeared and when I reboot SoftRaid everything is gone.

That is not my recommendation. There is a terminal command that may address part of this.
The SoftRAID UI is waiting for the cache to rebuild and it is not displaying anything until then.
Try the command:
kestcache -i /
and restart and see if that works.
