I purchased my most recent upgrade on December 17, 2022. I installed 7.0.1.

Then 7.5 came out. I downloaded it but didn't get around to installing it. Life got in the way.

Then 7.6.1 came out. I downloaded it on December 11, 2023, less than a year from the purchase of my upgrade. But again, life got in the way, and it never got installed.

Today, I decided to make time to install the upgrade. I am told that Malwarebytes is incompatible, so I uninstall it and reboot.

Then I'm told that I can't install 7.6.1 because my support and updates have expired. It tells me that I can install any update released prior to expiration, but I don't know when that was.

I can understand not being able to install a major update like 8.x, but I can't even install a minor update for 7.x? This makes no sense. I would gladly extend my support, but I'd rather not be forcibly upgraded to 8.x and its subscription, when 7.x is compatible and has worked well enough. None of my disks are RAIDs. I use SoftRAID ONLY for its Certify feature and drive monitoring. I am a firm believer that Certify is a necessary function, even if I have no use for a RAID setup.

I even bought two additional seats for 7.x that I never got around to activating. Are those now useless as well?

It feels like I'm being punished simply for not installing the latest updates as soon as they came out.

My system is an Intel 2017 5K iMac running Mojave 10.14.6.

I'm sorry for my extremely frustrated tone, but I'd like a functional system that's more up-to-date than it has been. Thank you for any help you can provide.

I found a way to help you out. Your license should be able to install 7.6.1 now.
