Thanks. The driver loading is a macOS bug. We are told it will be fixed. Hopefully you made a contribution to helping the urgency of this fix.

It is not something we can fix in SoftRAID.

I just updated to Big Sur 11.5.1 and now the driver loads up by itself. I shutdown my computer and restarted a few times as a test.

Thank you for the update. It seems like 80% of cases are fixed by 11.5. I need to understand those that do not yet load automatically, however.

Having this same issue in macOS 11.6 with SoftRAID 6.05. Driver not loading automatically at startup so not mounting the drive. Ran terminal and manually loaded the driver and the drive mounted immediately. Has this been resolved by Apple and I need to do something on my side or is it still an ongoing issue with some Macs? I'm running a 2017 iMac.  --Thanks

Its still an ongoing issue. We are adding that terminal command to 6.1, so it should help avoid this issue. Apple committed to fixing this, but it is not fixed as of 11.6.
