Using a Thunderbay Mini RAID.  4 1TB SSD, 3 are OWC, 1 a Samsung.  Format and cleaned as ExFat.  I go to Initialize the 4 drives and keep getting this error message:  "An error occurred initializing a disk. This disk is currently being used by another application.  Please quit all other applications and try again."  No other applications are running.  Would I need to close such apps as Dropbox, Creative Cloud?  Non of those are using these drives.  They have been wiped clean of data.  I am baffled.

@DDarlington

There are a couple reasons, first manually unmount all volumes with SoftRAID from the desktop. then try again.

Its also possible you do not have the correct SoftRAID driver loaded, or it is not loading. If you cannot create or erase a volume, without an error, then attach a SoftRAID tech support file.
