Hi,

I just got a message like this, but I don't where disk8 is?  Please check the attached tech support log and drive configuration.  The drive still can read/write well so far.  BTW, I am using SoftRAID version 6.1 b3.

Disk8 is the identifier for the volume. This message means the drives were renumbered probably during sleep and you need to restart to fix this.

SoftRAID puts up this message and locks the volume to prevent data corruption when this happens.

So I don't need and I cannot do anything for it, right?

BTW, will formal SoftRAID version 6.1 going to release soon?

@charlie

Correct, all you do is restart, or unmount/remove and reconnect your drives.

When we get the user interface changes in to support AFPS, you will know we are getting closer to release. I think we are a couple months away.
