What's the workaround for sharing an SR array?

Hi there,

I'm trying to access an SR RAID1+0 volume over my LAN. Host and remote machine are both Macs running Monterey, 12.5.1. Both are running SR 6.3.

I have added the array to File Sharing, and also selected the "Share files and folders using SMB" option on the host. I see the volume available to mount. But when I try to mount it, I consistently get the Finder error:

"The operation can’t be completed because the original item for “RAID Array” can’t be found."

This seems odd because I can mount other volumes (non-SR) shared by the same host.

In the Known Issues section of the support site, it mentions that there have been some changes to file sharing, but a workaround is possible. Can you give me step-by-step on the workaround? I think I am following the steps, but it appears not to be working for me.

You should be able to Click on sharing, click + and add the volume.

If you are sharing M1 to M1, then also share any folder inside the volume.

Let me know if that is not working

@softraid-support Aha, this worked. Oddly enough, I was trying to share Intel to M1 and that didn't work...but M1 to M1 does. Anyway, it works! Thank you.
