Hi All,
I was using SoftRaid 5.8.0 without issues, but after updating to 5.8.1 I've subsequently been getting this error below. What does this mean and what should I do?
From what I can tell, my Raid 5 is operating just fine, and when open up the raid software I get no SMART errors or anything related to an error outside of this randomly popping up.
I am on a MacPro (5,1) running Mac OS X HS 10.13.6, and my RAID 5 is all INTERNAL drives mounted on my MP.

What is the error?
There is no significant change from 5.8 to 5.8.1, so the update should not cause any issue.

This is a separate issue, that we have not fixed yet. Just don't leave the SoftRAID application running when not actively managing disks, there is no need, as the SoftRAID Monitor does all the tracking.
The cause is the application is losing contact with the Monitor, so the application has to be quit and restarted.

Ah! Learn something new everyday, thank you. I thought the application was to remain open 24/7. Thanks for the quick replies.
