I had a disk fail and it was replaced. Nevertheless, I get the above message. When I look at the Volume menu, I have ADD SECONDARY DISKS and REMOVE DISKS but is greyed out. How can I get rid of this error message?

If you have a "degraded, no secondary disk" message, then you have not yet added the new disk to the mirror.
If you click on the volume, are there two links to two different disks?
If not, initialize the new disk with SoftRAID, select the volume and "add secondary disk".
See if that fixes this.
