Since Version 5.1 would NOT let me mount my encrypted drive i formatted using SoftRaid I started using The drives unencrypted. I would like to encrypt the 2 Thunderbay 4 drives i have. Can I do that? Can i use the apple decryption by right clicking on the drive? Do i risk losing data on the drive? or is the a better way? Thanks in Advance.

Apple's API's do not work on non standard volumes. We tried to make this work and it fails.
We want to fix this, or find an alternative, but do not have an alternative at this time.
