Yes;

remove one disk (just pull it out one inch). Startup.Your computer should start.

Wait at least 5 minutes before pushing the drive back in.

the volume will mount at startup, yes.

I understand, but we need to wait for Apple on this. Its apparent this is a bug in the macOS kernel.

Thanks. It is frustrating to have to wait for a fix (on our end also).

So now after couple of days of using this pull out put in disk i have another panic problem .

panic(cpu 2 caller 0xfffffe001cce9798): "dart-apciec1 (0xfffffe233327c000): DART(DART) error: SID 1 read protect exception on read with DVA 0x80077000 (TTBR 0 SEG 0x40 PTE 0x1d)

@adione

(Its simplest if you save the panic log in text edit, make it plain text, then you can attach it.)

Was this after pushing in the second disk? Was it at least 5 minutes later?

Its the same DART chip controller crash.

Sorry about this. You can try after ten minutes, but it may not make a difference. you may need to run on 4 disks for a while. (or transition to RAID 4)

We are regularly reminding our Apple contacts on this issue. Its "we are investigating" each time.

@adione

Another option for you is recreate your volume as RAID 4.

@adione

Rule of thumb is:

Blades = APFS

HDD's = HFS

Time Machine = APFS always

Use 16K
