Using an 8TB Thunderblade. All is going well until I install this security patch and restart. All of a sudden, OS X no longer sees one of the drives in the Thunderblade and keeps erroneously ejecting it. I'm using SoftRAID 7.0.1. Verified that the Energy Saver settings were correct. Reinstalled SoftRAID driver and restarted. It still wouldn't mount the disk no matter what. Finally, I pulled the Thunderblade and put it on another machine that doesn't have the 11.7.2 patch and the disk mounts up just fine - thank god data is all okay ;)

Anyway, I hope there is a quick fix for this around the corner because my work is pretty much dead in the water until this is resolved. Thanks again Apple LOL.

Here is the log. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Please do not attach text blobs such as from the SoftRAID log. (there is no reason to) Attach a tech support file is perfect.
Or a panic log, as long as you "make plain text", so you can attach it. Long blobs of text make the forum unusable for others.

Check this in terminal.app:

xattr /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext

(there should not be any output)

sudo kmutil load -p /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext

(this tries to load the driver manually)

@softraid-support, Thank you problem appears to be resolved. I had previously done the xattr /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext as I saw in another forum post, but not the second part. Plugged in the drive and all seems to be functioning normally.

Thank you very much for your assistance.
