Are you gettingi the error that the SoftRAID Monitor has failed? Is the SoftRAID icon in the menu bar?
For your case, please attach a SoftRAID tech support file. You may have an obsolete extension (or more) that is causing Big Sur to block extensions from loading.
I cant generate support file becouse almost all options in menu are grey. App freez and error apear i cant do nothing but my RAID 5 is working good and mount. I work on it.
Hi @softraid-support. I am still having the same issue. Is there any other info I could provide? Happy to assist with finding a solution for this strange issue. Thanks!
use the terminal:
softraidtool generatereport ~/Desktop/Adione.6.143.21.sr_supt
is good enough. Then you can attach that.
there will be, I am still waiting for a debug version I can offer, for getting to the bottom of this, but I do not have it yet.

Did you do this?
https://support.apple.com/en-lk/guide/mac-help/mchl768f7291/mac
Select reduced security and enable this:
Select the “Allow user management of kernel extensions from identified developers” checkbox to allow installation of software that uses legacy kernel extensions.

I done this and resoults are the same.
When you reduced security, and reinstalled the driver, did you go to System Preferences and was "Allow" OWC available?
there is a specific order to all this and the step it breaks on tells me what to have you do next.
If you clicked allow, then you need to manually load the driver, most likely.
If you did not even get that option, you may have extensions that Big Sur sees and stops loading drivers.

I dont have that option. Aftrer reinstal there Was no asking for allow this developer and teh full dysc acces was already checked.
The driver is not being loaded then. Attach a support file from SoftRAID.

Thanks! I would like to have the software up and running properly so I know my data is secure. Hope the debug version comes around shortly. Every time I turn on my Thunderbay 4 I worry about the RAID and data as I currently won't be alerted if something goes south.

I told you its crush i cant create support file
@vortext
Understand completely. I hate unresolved issues like this. I do have you on the list I created.
Create a support file using the terminal. Paste this in to terminal and it can create a support file:
softraidtool generatereport ~/Desktop/Adione.6.21.2021.sr_supt
Then attach it here. thanks
