Hello,
I updated to the latest BigSur 11.2.1. My SoftRAID volume doesn't mount anymore.
Not sure if this is related to BigSur update or something else.
Would appreciate any help.
EDIT: NEVERMIND, I just saw your critical announcement :( here https://srforums.wpengine.com/support/important-notices/
macOS 11.2 update does not allow the SoftRAID driver to load
Please do not upgrade to 11.2 at the time, if you have an M1 (Apple Silicon) computer. If you are using a non-M1 Mac you can upgrade to macOS 11.2.
If you have upgraded to macOS 11.2 you can downgrade back to macOS 11.1 using snapshots. Downgrade to macOS 11.1 using snapshots..
Wow I regret getting the new M1 mac....
Thanks,
John
This should be fixed very soon, hopefully the 11.3 public beta, that I am predicting is releasing next tuesday, as it was not released yesterday.
You can revert to 11.1 if you need to , using Time Machine (backup changes). We also have instructions on going back to 11.1 on a factory refresh.
I will have to wait until Big Sur 11.3 is out.
My Time Machine was on another SoftRAID volume so that's not an option. I cannot do a factory refresh.
