Moving from iMac to MacStudio running 12.6. I have a 2014 Thunderbay 3 and a 2020 Thunderbay 4. After 6.3 install, mouse freezes somewhere between 15-45 seconds after startup, then crash/restart.

I've tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling 6.3, both manually and via the app. I've also tried the current beta, same result. The crash does seem to be hastened by quitting the SoftRAID app, but not sure about that.

I saw reference to pulling a drive out for 5 minutes and re-seating, but with no instructions. Tried doing that for both bays (unmounted), no change.

What DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE: disconnecting those two drives - that's now I'm able to write this.

I tried to attach 3 different txt crash logs from Apple Reports, and the SOFTRAID.log file, but somehow those files are not allowed.d

Any ideas? Without those drives I'm dead in the water...

If you open the log files in text edit, then "save as plain text", then you can attach them. We do not allow RTF or .doc files on the forum. there is no reason to add the SoftRAID log, if you attach a SoftRAID tech support file.
