SR RAID5 Mounts slow, loses all my Finder tabs

Ever since adding my Thunderbay 4 quite some time ago (used with RAID5, SR v6.3), about 80% of the time when I reboot the computer, all my Finder tabs that were opened to folders on the TB are lost. I use my TB external for a majority of my day-to-day workflow, and normally have about 15-20 open Finder tabs from the RAID5 TB in about 3-4 different Finder windows, so it's a real PITA when I lose all of those folder locations any time I have to reboot.

Is there any way to get the SoftRaid volume to mount quicker so that it retains my Finder tabs when rebooting? Thanks.

SoftRaid v6.3, macOS 12.6, 2020 iMac 27

The problem is caused by your volume mounting slowly?
When your startup, how long does it take for your volume to mount?

All this is controlled by macOS.

I guess I don't know. Asking in order to see if there is a way to solve the problem. I didn't have this issue with my Drobo over the years, but do have it since adding my ThunderBay with the SoftRaid RAID5 volume. You're saying that there is no way to resolve this? Really is a PITA. The only solution/workaround I've found is to do a screenshot before reboot, but that doesn't provide a very good solution to getting me back to my Finder arrangement and back to work.

Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.

@nwhit

This is not an issue I have encountered or heard complaints about before. its possible also that this is common, but no one really notices.

A couple things you can try, which might help ,bit no promises:

SoftRAID preferences, change the timeout in RAID prefs to 1 minute.
in volume preferences, check "mount volumes when user not logged in"

See if any make a difference
