Hi, I purchased (3) OWC 4M2 SSD Enclosures along with (12) WD Black 1TB High-Performance NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 SSD - Gen3, 8 Gb/s - WDS100T2X0C.
As a composer, I have a 2 Mac set-up. One is master, the other slave.
1) iMac Pro - 10 cores with 64GB Ram. I connected (2) 4M2 enclosures to this iMac Pro. I'm using OWC .5mm cable and the second is daisy chained to the first.
2) 2013 Mac Pro - 8 cores with 64 GB Ram. I connected (1) 4M2 enclosures to this Mac Pro. I'm using a 4 foot TB2 cable to a TB2 to TB3 Apple adapter.
The (3) 4M2 have been config'd to work in RAID 0.
When I initialize these drives, I get error's. I've attached all the pictures below.
When I try to create a Volume, I get an error. When I try to Certify a drive, I get an error. I can't move forward without getting error's.
So, how do I run these without getting constant error's? I'm running Mojave 10.14.2 on both computers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Two of the errors are not really errors.
Unmount your volume, then delete it.
Then certify the disks. They need to be certified. Do a 3 pass certify. Then see if you can put them into service.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I did a certify but I get the message below.
Also, before purchasing the 4M2 and PCIe drives, I had 8 SSD (SATA) connected to the iMac Pro and 4 SSD (SATA) connected to the Mac Pro. I run Pro Tools which is a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation).
Loading my Pro Tools sessions using the SSD (SATA) averages 1:20, and these drives all Read about 400 MB/s. Doing this with the new 4M2 and PCIe, this system reads an average of 2500 MB/s, but the load time is identical to the SSD (SATA), which is 1:20.
Is this a 4M2 or PCIe issue?

The Express M2/4 Does not have a SATA interface, it is direct NVMe to Thunderbolt, which is why it is so fast. The drives are NNMe, SATA based. It is a new way of connecting devices that is much faster than SATA. NVMe over the PCIe bus can deliver up to 32GB/s.
It appears that there is another bottleneck in the system that is constraining performance, which must be Pro Logic, the CPU, or RAM, not your storage. Your test, assuming it was accurately done, just proved that 400MBs is faster than the rest of your system can output audio coding. You could make your drives infinitely fast and the time would be the same.
In this test, Pro Logic must be the bottleneck. the rest of your system is state of the art.
Check the Pro Logic forums and see if there are any settings you can try, or if you are really getting maximum throughput. Generally faster drives will speed up processing times, but if the process is CPU bound, drives can no longer help.
(Run Activity Monitor when doing a session. Are you maxing out the CPU's?)

Well I'm using Pro Tools and not Pro Logic, but I'm using another app called Vienna Ensemble Pro to get all my orchestral libraries into Pro Tools, and that's not bottlenecked.
I followed your instructions to certify, but keep getting error's. Below is the log. Maybe these sticks aren't very good, I don't know. I've been trying to get these to work for a week without any luck.
Hopefully there's something in the log that will shed some light.

Too much stuff to post. Send us a support tech support file to support at softRAID.
It appears you are daisy chaining multiple devices. Let us know with the support file everything else connected also, like docks, etc.

So far, the problems seem to be too many Thunderbolt devices. Testing with less devices and slowly adding them should help figure out how to make your system stable.
