Hard drive failed

I have a simple setup of two hard drives mirrored together. One of those drives failed and I need to replace it. Both original drives were 5TB each, but the replacement I've identified is a 6TB drive. Can I match a 6tb drive with a 5tb drive in a mirror setup?

I'm thinking the 5tb drive will fail next and then I could end up with two 6tb drives mirrored together.

Thanks!

Yes. SoftRAID does not care about disks, brands, bus, SSD/HDD, etc. All it cares is the replacement disk has the same amount of free space or more than the original.

After replacing the second drive, eventually, you can resize the volume to 6TB
