Is there any available data around iops with 4 nvme drives in the OWC Express 4M2 enclosure running raid 0 with Softraid and using Thunderbolt 3?

We get very few requests for this kind of test, so I don't have any. We do them for internal checking with the SoftRAID driver, but they are very blade dependent. I can get you some results from our own P12 blades, perhaps next week. The SoftRAID driver has a latency in microseconds, so iops is primarily a hardware depending result.  (blades and thunderbolt)

What blades are you using?

I ran a quick test on a Accelsior 4M2 inside a Mac Pro 2019. Its PCI, rather than Thunderbolt, but this is a driver test.

I was seeing about 47,000 iops.

This was using iostat to measure a R0 APFS volume, with 64k Stripe unit size. I was running dd, with a block size of 512 bytes to read from the volume.
