My 2009 Macbook Pro has an external firewire rotational drive and an internal SSD.
I know I formatted the external using Software, but I don't remember if I used SoftRAID or Disk Utility for the internal SSD.
Is there any way to check which driver is installed?
Can I install the SoftRAID driver over the Apple driver without reformatting? If so, how?

SoftRAID shows you by the icon on the disk in the disks column. Its simple to tell.
