I have a three-disk array in which one of the disks is predicted to fail. I want to replace it. How should I replace it while preserving the data on the array -- turn it off and swap, etc.? Anything I need to do once replaced?
Shouldn't this be a FAQ?
Thanks!

You cannot easily replace a disk in a RAID 0 volume, it has no redundancy. So when you get the new disk, backup, delete, create a new volume, then restore.
I do recommend you certify your new disk, for a 2TB it only takes about 36 hours, if I remember, maybe less.
