Rebuilding Progress????

I have a RAID 5 volume that has required a new drive. All appears to have run smoothly however the new drive has been rebuilding for 24 hours with questionable progress. The volume is 6TB.

I've seen the YouTube video and it shows a progress indicator that has never presented during my rebuild. Also, the offsets do not progress steadily and appear to creep.

How can I tell if this process is progressing? Why is there no progress indicator?

Attached is a screenshot of the progress so far. This was not a new drive, however a drive that I partitioned before adding it to the volume.

My guess is OS X alerted you that the volume was mounted "read only". (i.e, a damaged Directory)

If so, then the volume cannot rebuild. Is this the case?

Then you need either backup/restore, or run Disk Warrior to rebuild the directory.

SoftRAID needs read/write access to a volume for rebuilds, this helps support our fast rebuild technology.
