Hi there, I have a RAID1 (2x8TB) array in a Thunderbolt 2 enclosure attached to a Win10 machine. Filesystem is HFS+.

While working in Lightroom Classic (specifically, doing an import), I hit a bluescreen (KMODE exception not handled), and now, I get the above message.

1. What is the suggested course of action?

2. On a hunch, I started the validation process (since it's going to take 10 hours or so)

3. Is this a fool's errand? Am I SOL, need to start the array over and reach for my backup?

Do you have access to a mac? If so, do you have Disk Warrior?

We do not have a Windows forum yet, but you can repair it if you have Disk Warrior, which is Mac only.

Hi there, and I do have a Mac, but no Disk Warrior - how do I get my hands on it, and what should I do with it?

Disk Warrior is a commercial application, been around since the 80's, repairing volume directory issues. Problem is it is $129, so it is an investment, but is likely to be able to fix your problem. Also, running it on your volumes monthly can significantly improve "finder performance", opening folders, etc, as when directories start to degrade, simple tasks start taking longer and longer.
