I just installed SoftRAID Lite and so far I am getting persistent app crashing when attempting to verify disks. Also, the first time I loaded it I got a report that one of my RAID slices was about to fail. Every subsequent time I have loaded the app (after a crash) it says the slice is fine. How accurate is this software?

I am on OS X El Capitan

Unlike the Apple support guys, I cannot read these crash logs. ;-(

I truncated your query, as it makes the question too long and there is not much to understand from these (unless I suppose if you are an Apple engineer!)

However, I am happy to try to diagnose this, via a SoftRAID technical support file.

A verify disks is just a read, so this causing an application crash is very odd.

send it to support@softRaid.com and we can start there.
