It is that time of the year again. MacOS Sequoia was introduced and is available for download as a beta. Will Softraid run with it?
Your volumes will work fine. We will have a public beta soon.
Yay. I will try then tomorrow and let you know how it goes. Right now I am still having issues with Spotlight, and DiskUtil will not let me repair the RAID volume, says it is corrupted. But once Sequoia is out, I guess I will take the plunge, backup everything and just create the RAID from scratch.
If it is HFS, Disk Warrior is your friend. Otherwise, backup restore. Disk Utility repair cannot really repair much of anything.
Nah, it is one of your enclosures with four Samsung 2TB SSDs in there in a RAID 5 config. So it is APFS. Yeah, gonna need to get me an 8TB drive and backup, then recreate and get everything back on there. Thanks, as always :)
All running well w latest SoftRAID and Seq 15.3B2 on Mac Pro M2 Ultra
@softraid-support Version I had was the RC and there were no changes made so all good. SoftRAID 8.3 still running like a champ here. Thanks for the "heads up" though as I updated my old mid 2011 Mac mini Server(5,3) to Seq 15.3 via OCLP (Open Core Legacy Patcher) v 2.3.0 (Nightly). You just can't kill the old 5,3s.. still runs 24/7/365.
