When saving a MS Word Document to ThunderBay 4 Bay External HD running SoftRaid 8.3 on a MacMini (Apple M4 Pro) Sequoia 15.2
ONLY for Microsoft Word saves I get this error "Check to make sure the removable drive containing this file is still available", the file actually saves most of the time but the error persists every time I try to save the word doc file. Sometimes I can't make the name other times I can.
The Drive is always visible and never disappears.
Other file types work without issue using other applications.
I can drag and drop, copy etc .docx files with no issues.
Its specifically saving from within Word .docx file extension.
I CAN save from Word to a .txt file.
??
Please confirm this is Microsoft 365 version of Word. This would be a known bug in (Office) saving to removable media.
