I keep getting "Out of Sync" warnings using my 2 Thunderbays (4 drives/RAID5 config) on a M2 Mac Studio Ultra running Sonoma 14.1.2 and also on a M3 Macbook Pro also running Sonoma 14.1.2.  I have to shut down everything, boot back up, SoftRaid 7.6 says it's rebuilding the volume.  After a few minutes the cycle starts again.  I think it's a problem with the latest Sonoma update.  That's when the problem started.

Hi JTE, sorry to hear. Any updates/solutions since your post? Just another user here with a similar problem, but with both Monterey 12.7.2 (2019 MBP16 Intel) and Ventura 13.6.3 (M1 Max MBP14). Newly acquired Thunderbay6 (Open Box via MacSales) and new/certified 16TB HDDs.

Context:
• SoftRAID 7.6.1, Driver 7.6.1
• NEW RAID 10, Thunderbay6, 6 x 16TB NAS drives (3 Seagate IWP, 3 Toshiba N300 Pro) using OWC TB4 cables, connected to a UPS
• 2019 MBP 16: Use mainly for large data transfers to free up my main machine...
• M1 Max MBP14: Main machine for video editing
• On both machines, getting frequent, or more-than-used-to, "out-of-sync" notifications, then successfully rebuilds (3 times in less than a month, maybe even 2 weeks). Never had issues before with my M1 Max running Monterey (since May 2023). **I'm glad it's successfully rebuilding, but I feel it's too frequent—it actually just happened again on my 2019 MBP16 as I was typing this sentence.
• September 2023, my RAID 5 Thunderbay4 (which housed my RAID 10 Thunderbay4 backups) showed warnings to replace a disk, then Mark from @softraid-support helped me understand that my directory needs to be rebuilt—which is what originally prompted me to purchase a new Thunderbay6 enclosure and brand new NAS drives to move everything to, rather than rebuild the RAID5.
**I still need to rebuild the RAID5 directory via Disk Warrior, but backed up everything from my original Thunderbay4 RAID 10 to my new Thunderbay6 RAID 10 (which, again, is the one that is frequently out-of-sync / rebuilding).

Apologies if there's unnecessary info there, just trying to share my experience/setup to hopefully help narrow down an issue.
